Janet Taylor will be entering her 11th season as the athletic trainer for the Tigers' gymnastics team in 2015-16.
Auburn advanced to the NCAA Championship Super Six in 2015 for the first time in 22 years as the the Tigers broke or tied 52 program records.
A native of Washington, N.C., Taylor earned her bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science, with a concentration in athletic training from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002.
Taylor was previously at Georgia Tech, where she received her master's of science degree in sports medicine in May of 2005. At Georgia Tech, Taylor served as a graduate assistant in athletic training for the swimming and diving teams, as well as assisting with men's basketball and football.
As an undergraduate at North Carolina, Taylor worked with the men's and women's basketball teams as well as the women's lacrosse and baseball squads. Taylor is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. She resides in Auburn.
