Three Former Auburn Golfers Qualify For LPGA Tour

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Former Auburn golfers Diana Ramage, Danielle Downey and Celeste Troche qualified for the LPGA Tour Sunday afternoon at the Qualifying School held at the par 72, 6,461-yard Legends Course at LPGA International.

Ramage, who currently resides in Auburn, earned her exempt card finishing 11th overall with a 1-under five day total of 74-75-73-68-69--359. The 2005 Auburn graduate finished the tournament with earnings of $1,875 and will be able to compete in all LPGA tournaments.

Ramage was an All-American for the Tigers in 2005 and helped lead the team to an SEC title and a third place finish in the NCAA Championship.

Troche, who earned her LPGA status last year, finished 43rd overall for non-exempt status, recording a score of 8-over, 73-75-75-74-71--368. Also earning non-exempt status is Danielle Downey at 10-over 70-77-78-68-77--370.
