Former Tiger Karlin Beck Tied For Ninth At LPGA Qualifying School

DAYTONA, Fla. - Three former Tigers finished the third round of the 2011 LPGA Qualifying Tournament with two in the top 20. Karlin Beck is currently tied at ninth, Cydney Clanton tied for 16th and Nicole Hage tied at 95th. Beck remained in a top 10 position at ninth with a 71-72-74--217 for the tournament. She began the day strong birdying the second hole, but lost some ground from her previous two rounds. In a 21-spot jump from being tied at 37th yesterday, Clanton took three birdies on the back nine to end the third round at 72-76-70--218. Also making three birdies for the day, Hage jumped two spots to tie for 95th with 72-81-75--228 for the tournament. The 90-hole stroke play tournament will run through Sunday, Dec. 4. The top-40 and ties following the final day of play will receive 2012 LPGA Tour membership.
