AUBURN - Four former Tigers are currently competing at the LPGA Qualifying Tournament held Nov. 28-Dec. 2 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla. Danielle Downey, Nicole Hage and Maru Martinez are all tied for 26th after two rounds of play, while Celeste Troche is tied for 110th.

The 90-hole tournament is staged at LPGA International, where 137 players will play the Champions and Legends courses twice, hoping to be among the top-70 to advance to Sunday. After Sunday's final round, the top-17 finishers will earn exempt status for the 2008 Tour season, while the next 35 will earn conditional status.

Downey and Martinez each carded 1-under par 71, while Hage shot even par 72. All three have two-round scores of 143. Troche opened play yesterday, firing 2-over 74, but carded 6-over 78 today.

The players have been split between LPGA International Champions and Legends courses and will be repaired by scores for the third round based on the course they started on the first round. The new groups will play the third and fourth rounds together before the Saturday cut to the top-70 and ties.

Hage will tee off of #1 on the Champions course at 8:56 a.m. ET with Christina Lecuyer and Virada Nirapathpongporn. Martinez will follow at 9:07 a.m. with Becky Lucidi and May Wood.
