AUBURN, Ala. - Playing against some of the top competition in the country so far this season, the Auburn women's golf team finds itself ranked in the top 25 of the GolfStat rankings as the Tigers prepare for their final tournament of the fall season.
Auburn comes in at No. 25 and is one of seven Southeastern Conference teams in the rankings. The Tigers opened the season with an eighth-place finish at the Cougar Classic before taking seventh at the Mason Rudolph Championship and 10th at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational.
It has not been an easy road for Auburn. The Cougar Classic had four ranked teams in the field while the Mason Rudolph had 11 ranked teams in its 15-team field. The Tar Heel Invitational had the most so far as 12 of the 18 teams were ranked in the top 25.
The Tigers will close out the fall season this weekend as the team travels to Palo Alto, Calif., to play in the Stanford Intercollegiate.
