Former Tiger Carlie Yadloczky Moves On In LPGA Qualifying

AUBURN, Ala. - Former Tiger Carlie Yadloczky advanced to the final stage of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament this week. She carded a 3-under 285 in Stage II to earn a spot in the third and final stage.

Yadloczky, a native of Casselberry, Fla., was one of three Tigers in the tournament's second stage, played at Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla. She carded rounds of 72-75-71-67--285 to tie for 12th in the 194-player field. The top 80 players (plus ties) advanced to the final stage.

Also competing were Patricia Sanz and Candace Schepperle. Sanz, a native of Madrid, Spain, posted rounds of 71-75-75-74--295, finishing at 7-over-par and just one stroke away from moving on. Schepperle, a native of Birmingham, Ala., tied for 136th at 77-73-73-78--301.

Yadloczky now moves on to the qualifying tournament's final stage, set for Dec. 4-8 at the LPGA International Golf Course in Daytona Beach, Fla. She is trying to become the third Tiger to earn their Tour card this year, joining Cydney Clanton and Karlin Beck.
