    No. 14 Auburn Travels to Lady Tar Heel Invitational Tigers will face 10 nationally ranked teams

    AUBURN - The No. 14 Auburn's women's golf team will play in the Lady Tar Heel Invitational at the par-72, 6,285 yard UNC Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C. Friday - Sunday.

    "We continue to grow in a lot of areas and look to put together a solid tournament," head women's coach Kim Evans said.

    Leading the way for the Tigers will be junior Candace Schepperle, who is coming off of a second-place finish at the Mason Rudolph Championship. Sophomore All-American Cydney Clanton, Sarah Thead, Mariana Macias and Patricia Sanz round out the weekend's roster.

    The 18-team tournament field will feature three top-10 teams in fourth-ranked Tulsa, sixth-ranked Vanderbilt and eighth-ranked Virginia. No. 13 North Carolina, No. 15 Florida State, No. 19 South Carolina, No. 20 Louisville, No. 21 Michigan State, No. 22 Kent State, No. 23 Wake Forest, Central Florida, Furman, Kentucky, NC State, Ohio State, Texas A&M and UNC-Greensboro will also be playing in the tournament.
