FRANKLIN, Tenn. - The Auburn women's golf team travels to the Mason Rudolph Championships Sept. 23-25 at the Vanderbilt Legends Club's par 72, 7,200-yard Ironhorse Course for its second tournament of the season.

The Tigers' trip to the Mason Rudolph will be just their second appearance ever at the tournament as they finished seventh in 2003. This year's tournament is a showcase of NCAA Tournament teams including Arizona, Arkansas, Arizona State, Duke, Florida, Furman, Georgia, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Texas, Tulane, UCLA, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest, in addition to Auburn.

"This tournament will be as close to a national championship as you can get," head coach Kim Evans said. "The names of the teams go on and on and they are all high caliber teams."

The scheduled lineup for the Tigers is Nicole Hage, Maria Martinez, Abigale Schepperle, Jessica Lovell and Margaret Shirley, respectively, with Mariana Macias competing as an individual.

Auburn is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Cougar Classic Sept. 11-12 in Charleston, S.C. Junior Nicole Hage led all Auburn players with a 4-over 220 in three rounds.
