Candace Schepperle And Margaret Shirley Make Cut At U.S. Women's Amateur

Carmel, Ind. - Sophomore Candace Schepperle and senior Margaret Shirley advanced to match play on Tuesday at the U.S. Women's Amateur. Schepperle and Shirley were in the top-60 after two rounds of stroke play at the Crooked Stick Golf Club.

After shooting 5-under-par 67 to open the tournament, Schepperle fired a 7-over 79 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for 22nd. Shirley made the cut, finishing in a tie for 60th, after shooting 4-over 76 on Tuesday.

Schepperle will tee off at 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday and Shirley will follow at 1:10 p.m. ET.
