Former Tiger Nicole Hage Tied For Fifth Heading Into Final Round At LPGA Event

ONTARIO, Canada - A pair of former Tigers made the cut this weekend at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic at the Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Nicole Hage started the weekend in a tie for 15th and moved up to a tie for fifth while Karlin Beck is tied for 73rd. Hage, a native of Coral Springs, Fla., improved on her first-round 72 to card a 6-under 65 on Friday, totaling seven birdies on the day. She kept it going Saturday with a 4-under 67 to move into a tie for fifth at 9-under 204. She carded two birdies on the front nine and finished the day with an eagle on No. 18. Beck, a native of Pike Road, Ala., made her first professional cut Friday with rounds of 66-73--139. Her first-round 66 included an eagle on No. 5, the first eagle of her professional career. She posted a 78 Saturday and is tied for 73rd at 4-over 217 heading into Sunday's final round. Also competing at the tournament was former Tiger Candace Schepperle. The Birmingham native was two strokes away from making the cut as she finished with a 3-over 145. Action at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic is set to conclude Sunday with tee times beginning at 7:26 a.m. Beck will tee off at 7:48 a.m., playing alongside Meaghan Francella and Stephanie Louden. Hage will tee off in the next-to-last group at 12:34 p.m., playing with Anna Nordqvist and Karin Sjodin. Television coverage of the final round will be available from 2 - 5 p.m. CT, Sunday on the Golf Channel.
