AUBURN - The Auburn Equestrian team assisted in cleanup of tornado damage to the Auburn University Horse Center on Wednesday.

The storm destroyed fences and uprooted trees while stripping pieces of the roof from the barn. Despite the damage, team officials report no injuries to members of the team and the horses.

The team, along with Gerald Frazier and Henry Avery of Agriculture Land and Resource Management, coordinated cleanup efforts by pulling trees from the damaged fences, clearing the roadway to the barn and collecting debris.

The Horse Center will be restored in time for the team's meet against Oklahoma State on Jan. 28.
