AUBURN - The Auburn equestrian team remains ranked No. 1 in the country in the second Women's Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll of the season that was released on Wednesday.

Both the No. 1 Auburn Tigers and the No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies remain at the top with 4-0 records. Georgia moves up a spot to No. 3, bumping South Carolina down to No. 4, while No. 5 Oklahoma State rounds out the top five. Making the biggest climb was New Mexico State, moving up from No. 10 to No. 8, while Fresno State had the biggest fall from No. 8 to No. 10. SMU made its debut in the top 10 at No. 9 while TCU fell out of the rankings.

So far this season, Auburn (4-0) is undefeated at the Auburn University Horse Center. The Tigers recently had their last home meet of the fall portion of the schedule in beating then No. 7 Kansas State, 12-6.

Auburn has not been on the road since its season-opening 13-5 win at UT-Martin and will now head out on a two-meet road trip. The Tigers will travel to Brookings, S.D., for an all-day meet against both South Dakota State and Delaware State on Nov. 5., and then to Georgia on Nov. 11.
