What made you want to pursue the Western event instead of Huntseat?
"A long time ago I had a bad jumping accident. When I was 12-years-old I couldn't get my horse to jump and when I finally fell off, I forgot to let go, and I got dragged and it resulted in a concussion."
If you were stranded on an island and could only be with one person, who would it be?
"I would bring my little sister, Liz, because she kind of takes care of me. We are really close and she's a good friend. She is also a good cook so that would help."
If you could give any gift to the world what would it be?
"I would give the world happiness."
If you could have any animal besides a horse for a pet what would it be?
"I would have another Labradoodle."
Is there a talent you wish you had?
"I wish I could sing. I need improvement in that department so that it wouldn't be as embarrassing when I jam out in my car."
What would you do with one million dollars?
"I would buy a pony."
If you could swap horses with another animal to compete with, what would it be?
"I've ridden a camel before, but that's not fun. I would want a giraffe. I'd love to make a giraffe do a sliding stop."
Who is your biggest role model?
"My teammate, Indy Roper, she's absolutely hilarious and she is a good leader. If you ask her for help she's always willing to help you."
What kind of career aspirations do you have?
"I want to be an Industrial Organizational Psychologist. I want to get my Master's from Clemson University, and then I'll just go from there."
What are your personal goals for this season?
"I really want to be an All-American this year. I'm going to work hard for that in either Horsemanship or Reining."
Do you have a favorite childhood memory?
"Yes, the day I won my first blue ribbon ever when I was 10-years-old. It was a walk-trot class at an open show. There was probably like five people in it, but it was the greatest moment of my life at the time."
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
"There are two things. I have the worst phobia of blood and needles, so I wish I wouldn't pass out whenever someone talked about it. Everyone also makes fun of me because I don't eat anything green, so I wish I could change that as well."
Do you have a favorite venue that you have competed at?
"My favorite venue was the one in Oklahoma City for the World Show."
If you could design the ultimate Equestrian outfit to compete in, what would it be?
"Something so my hat never falls off again, chinstraps wouldn't look good though. Make sure your hat stays on! A T-shirt would be ideal and you have to stick with the chaps, obviously. Cowboy boots are a given, you need those."
If you could meet any person from history, dead or alive, who would it be?
"I would want to meet Abraham Lincoln, because he supposedly was incapable of telling a lie. I would try and test him by asking him if I just did a good job riding or not, and then see what he said."
