No. 1 Auburn Equestrian Rides against No. 2 Georgia

AUBURN-- The top ranked Auburn equestrian team takes on second-ranked and conference rival Georgia on Saturday at 10 a.m. CT at the Auburn Equestrian Center. It will be All Auburn All Orange at the meet with free admission.
"Georgia is a very good team," said Auburn head coach Greg Williams. The Tigers are 2-0 on the season having defeated Fresno State and South Carolina, while Georgia is 3-0 on the season having defeated Kansas State, Fresno State and Delaware State. The Bulldogs are the defending overall national champions while the Tigers are the defending Hunt Seat champions.
Riding for the Tigers in Hunt Seat Equitation on the Flat are Chelsea Anheuser, Katie Breedlove, Ali Loprete, Maggie McAlary and Rebecca Rifkin with Annie Loar on demo, Rachel Cooper on exhibition and Anna Schierholz as the alternate. Riding in Hunt Seat Equitation over Fences are Jessica Braswell, Ali Loprete, Jenny Reinhart, Anna Schierholz and Grace Socha with Mallory Kolpin on demo, Elise Fraza on exhibition and Maggie McAlary as the alternate.
Riding for the Tigers in Western Horsemanship are Mary Casey, Bailey Dymond, Shannon Hinton, Jessica Jones and Kylie Miller with Lauren Rooney on demo, Sarah Whitaker on exhibition and Anna Beck as the alternate. Riding in Western Reining are Kelsey George, Ashton Fairey, Lyndsey Jordan, Paige Monfore and Kim Pope with Courtney Tidmore on exhibition and Jessica Jones as the alternate. The special guests that will ride a horse to kick off each home meet will be Auburn gymnastics coaches Jeff and Rachelle Thompson.
