    AUBURN - The first Women's Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll of the 2011-12 season has been released and the Auburn equestrian team (3-0) debuted at No. 1 in the nation.

    The top five includes No. 2 Texas A&M and familiar opponents, No. 3 South Carolina and No. 4 Georgia, with Oklahoma State at No. 5.

    Auburn holds the top ranking with 58 points, having beaten UT-Martin, 13-5, TCU, 14-6 and South Carolina in a tiebreaker.

    Auburn will host Kansas State on Friday, Oct. 21, at 3 p.m. (CT) at the Auburn University Horse Center.
