No. 3 Tigers Ready to Take On Aggies

AUBURN, Ala. -

The No. 3 Auburn equestrian team is set to host No. 4 Texas A&M Saturday at 10 a.m. CT at the Auburn University Horse Center, as the two teams meet for the first time in a conference matchup.

The Tigers and Aggies both enter the meet at 1-1 (0-1 SEC).

Riding for Auburn in equitation over fences will be Megan Bifano, Quincy Hayes, Christina Lin, Melena Smith and Jennifer Waxman. Anna Becker will be the alternate.

In equitation on the flat, the Tigers will feature Anna Becker, Jennifer Delman, Quincy Hayes, Christina Lin and Lindsay Portela with Melena Smith as the alternate.

Riding in Western horsemanship will be Katie Buff, Katsy Leeman, Danielle Long, Indy Roper and Stephanie Rucci. Chelsea Zillner will be the alternate.

In reining, Auburn will ride Julianna Cook, Cheyenne Cracraft, Hailey Munger, Indy Roper and Stephanie Rucci with Morgan Burns as the alternate.



Admission to the meet is free, and special promotions include pony rides, Paint a Pony, build a horse and other crafts for kids throughout the meet. Horse hopper races and sack races will take place during intermission, and a t-shirt toss will take place during the horsemanship section breaks.
