    2010-11 Schedule

AUBURN -- The defending Southern Equestrian Champion Auburn Tigers announced their 2010-11 schedule, highlighted by six home meets including the season opening weekend against Kansas State and South Dakota State on September 23-24.

On Oct. 1, the Tigers will travel to Blythewood, S.C., for a meet against rival South Carolina and then return home for matchups with Delaware State on Oct. 8 and Fresno State on Oct. 9.

The Tigers will head to Texas for three meets against Texas A&M in Bryan on Nov. 5, TCU in Fort Worth on Nov. 6 and SMU in Dallas on Nov. 7.

For its last fall meet, Auburn will play host to conference foe Georgia on Nov. 12.

Auburn opens the spring season with two-straight meets on the road at UT-Martin on Jan. 28 and at Georgia on Feb. 12.

The Tigers host South Carolina for their only spring home meet on Feb. 19, facing Kansas State and New Mexico State in Manhattan, Kan., on March 11 and then Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla., on March 12.

The team then begins postseason competition with the Southern Equestrian Championships in Blythewood, S.C., on March 25 and 26, followed by the Varsity Equestrian National Championships in Waco, Texas, on April 14-16

"I am really excited about our lineup of away meets this year," said head coach Greg Williams. "It should help a lot for the postseason. The multiple meets in one weekend will make our season a bit easier over all as well."
