AUBURN, Ala. -
The Auburn equestrian team has signed Brianna Tamulewicz to its 2013-14 signing class, head coach Greg Williams announced Tuesday.
"We are so glad Bree will be joining us this fall,” Williams said. “She is a very talented rider, but I like that she completely embraces the team concept. She was more concerned about the rest of the girls on the team, what they wanted to achieve and if she could find a role to help them, and I love that.”
A native of Westerville, Ohio, Tamulewicz will ride Western for the Tigers and is an accomplished American Quarter Horse Association competitor. Tamulewicz is an AQYHA World Champion and Reserve World Champion in western pleasure. She has been a finalist in Horsemanship at the world show the past three years and finished fifth in 2011.
Tamulewicz has also been a finalist in Trail and Hunter Under Saddle. In 2011, she was named the AQHA Youth All-Round High Point in the nation. Tamulewicz won the All-American Quarter Horse Congress five times and been a reserve Champion four times in multiple events.
Tamulewicz attends Olentangy Orange High School where she carries a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.
