Auburn's Maggie McAlary Wins Inaugural Collegiate Equitation Challenge
Feb. 27, 2010
Wellington, Fla. - Auburn sophomore Hunt Seat rider Maggie McAlary was named the first WEF Collegiate Invitational Equitation Challenge Champion Friday. McAlary was one of 16 of the nation's best collegiate riders present at the competition. The tournament was run in the Varsity Equestrian head to head format and individuals were invited to compete with selections based upon individual national rankings from the Fall 2009 season.
McAlary was also named MVP at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships last April.
