Born in Honolulu, Hawaii and grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Luellen most recently was employed by Crown Castle International, the largest owner of telecommunication towers. He served in many capacities from Tower Management, Safety & Quality Assurance, Auditor, Operations Management and Customer Relationships. Prior to the tower business, Mark worked for Betz Laboratories located in the Philadelphia, Pa., area where he was an Operations Supervisor for Technical Services for Instrumentation servicing industrial, commercial and petrochemical/refinery water treatment. Prior to Betz, he worked for Morr Controls who manufactured water treatment monitoring and control equipment for industrial applications. His role was Eastern Regional Manager.
Luellen attended Haskell Indian Junior College in Lawrence, Kan., and was an All-American in Track & Field. He served two internships at the Department of the Interior in Washington, DC,. with the Bureau of Indian Affairs Tribal Relations Division. He went on to graduate with a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla.
He is married to Melissa Luellen, Auburn Head Women’s Golf Coach. They have two children, Drake and Sydney.
