Jessica Braswell is in her sixth season with Auburn and third as associate head coach overseeing the hunt seat discipline. Under her guidance, the Auburn hunt seat corps has been one of the top groups in the nation and has proven it time and time again. The Tigers captured the 2016 NCEA National title and the program’s first Southeastern Conference crown. In addition, she helped lead the Tigers to the overall national title and the Hunt Seat National title in 2013.

Under her guidance, the Auburn Hunt Seat program has totaled 25 All-America nods and 23 All-SEC recognitions.

In 2016-17, Auburn led the nation with six hunt seat All-America honorees with three in each event. Ashley Foster, Caitlin Boyle, and Alex Ladove were recognized for their efforts in Fences, while Hayley Iannotti, Ashton Alexander, and Tory Hoft earned nods for Flat.

The 2015-16 season was one for the record books as the Tigers went 16-1 overall, finishing the year on a 13-meet run. The Hunt Seat crew finished the year with a plethora of accolades, lead by Elizabeth Benson and Boyle. Benson picked up two All-America honors and was named the SEC Co-Flat Rider of the Year. Boyle was named the SEC Freshman Rider of the Year in both Fences and Flat, was an All-America honoree, and was placed on the NCEA and SEC All-Championship Teams.

In addition to Benson’s and Boyle’s successes in 2015-16, four other Tigers in Foster (Flat), Hoft (Flat), Alexander (Fences), and Iannotti (Fences) were awarded All-America honors.

During the 2014-15 season, Braswell helped lead Benson to two All-America honors, the SEC Fences Rider of the Year and two NCEA All-Championship Team honors. Braswell also led Foster to her first All-America honor in Fences.

In her first two seasons as coach, Braswell led the group to seven All-America nods in 2012 and 2013.

Braswell graduated from Auburn in 2009 with a double major in Agricultural Business & Economics and Spanish International Trade. She decided to remain at Auburn and pursue a Master’s degree in which she graduated in December 2010 with a Master of Business Administration.

While at Auburn, Braswell was a member of the equestrian team from 2005-2009. She helped lead the team to an overall national championship in 2006 and a hunt seat national championship in 2008. She was a four-time member of the SEC academic honor roll and the 2009 Auburn Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. She continued to be a part of the equestrian program during graduate school as the first Equestrian Director of Operations.

Braswell began riding at an early age and competed extensively before coming to Auburn in 2005. Prior to coaching at Auburn, Braswell worked for CIGNA Health Care in Hartford, Conn. She worked in CIGNA’s Proposal Management Department as a strategist.

Braswell is daughter of Jamey and Amy Braswell and sister to Troy.
