Jessica Braswell is in her fifth season with Auburn and her second as associate head coach overseeing the hunt seat discipline.

Under her guidance, the Auburn hunt seat corps has been one of the top groups in the nation and has proven it time and time again. Most recently, the Tigers captured the 2016 NCEA National title and the program's first Southeastern Conference crown. In addition, she helped lead the Tigers to the Overall National title and the Hunt Seat National title in 2013.

The 2015-16 season was one for the record books as the Tigers went 16-1 overall, finishing the year on a 13-meet run. The Hunt Seat crew finished the year with a plethora of accolades, lead by Elizabeth Benson and Caitlin Boyle. Benson picked up two All-America honors and was named the SEC Co-Flat Rider of the Year. Boyle, in her freshman season, was named the SEC Freshman Rider of the Year in both Fences and Flat, was an All-America honoree, and was placed on the NCEA and SEC All-Championship Teams. For their effors, Boyle and Benson each were MOP honorees in Fences and Flat, respectively.

In addition to Benson's and Boyle's successes in 2015-16, four other Tigers in Ashley Foster (Flat), Tory Hoft (Flat), Ashton Alexander (Fences), and Hayley Iannotti (Fences) were awarded All-America honors.

During the 2014-15 season, Braswell helped lead Benson to two All-America honors, the SEC Fences Rider of the Year and two NCEA All-Championship Team honors. Braswell also led Foster to her first All-America honor in Fences.

Braswell coached three riders to All-America honors in 2013, including Benson, Christina Lin and Jennifer Waxman. Benson was selected as a First Team All-American in Equitation Over Fences, Lin was selected as an Honorable Mention All American in Equitation on the Flat and Waxman was selected as an Honorable Mention All American in Equitation Over Fences. Braswell also coached Benson to the Most Outstanding Players Awards in Equitation on the Flat and Equitation Over Fences at the 2013 NCEA National Championship.

In 2012, she coached two student-athletes to All-America Honors. Maggie McAlary was a First Team All American in Equitation Over Fences and Equitation on the Flat and Jennifer Waxman was an Honorable Mention All American in Equitation Over Fences.
Braswell graduated from Auburn in 2009 with a double major in Agricultural Business & Economics and Spanish International Trade. She decided to remain at Auburn and pursue a Master's degree in which she graduated in December 2010 with a Master of Business Administration.

While at Auburn, Braswell was a member of the equestrian team from 2005-2009. She helped lead the team to an overall national championship in 2006 and a hunt seat national championship in 2008. She was a four-time member of the SEC academic honor roll and the 2009 Auburn Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. She continued to be a part of the equestrian program during graduate school as the first Equestrian Director of Operations.

Braswell began riding at an early age and competed extensively before coming to Auburn in 2005. Prior to coaching at Auburn, Braswell worked for CIGNA Health Care in Hartford, Conn. She worked in CIGNA's Proposal Management Department as a strategist.

Braswell is daughter of Jamey and Amy Braswell and sister to Troy.
