AUBURN - Former Auburn women's basketball player Le'Coe Willingham became the first Tiger to win two WNBA Championships Thursday night and she and the Seattle Storm defeated the Atlanta Dream 87-84, earning the 3-0 sweep in the WNBA Finals.

Willingham, a native of Augusta, Ga., earned her first WNBA title last season as a starter for the Phoenix Mercury. She was a free-agent acquisition for the Storm in the offseason and proved to be a vital member of the team as Seattle racked up 28-6 record during the regular season and a perfect 7-0 record in the playoffs.

The former Auburn star averaged 4.3 points per game in the finals, including seven points in Thursday night's clinching win. She also averaged 1.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in the series against the Dream.

Willingham played at Auburn from 1999-2004, tallying 1,475 points and 927 rebounds.
