Selected as the 2013 NCSAA National Player of the Year... Named the 2013 Atlanta Journal-Constitution AA Player of the Year... Nominated to play in the 2013 McDonald's All-America Game... Named as a NCSAA First Team All-American... As senior, averaged 20.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game... Won four-straight Class AA State Championships for The Wesleyan School in Johns Creek, Ga.... Named to the 2012 Gwinnett County Super 6... Averaged 9.0 points, 2.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 6.0 rebounds per game as a junior, leading the team to a 32-2 record... Scored 20 points with 12 rebounds, six assists, four steals and two blocks in the state championship game... Named to the All-State and All-County Second Teams as a junior... Helped lead Wesleyan to a 31-2 record her sophomore year... Coached by Auburn alum Jan Azar at the Wesleyan School... Played AAU for Peak Performance... Also played softball and was on the track & field team at Wesleyan... Was All-Region all four years in softball and finished runner-up at the state championship her junior and senior years... Was All-Region and All-County as a junior and senior in the high jump... Was the Gwinnett County Field Performer of the Year as a junior and selected for the Gwinnett County Super 6 as a senior... Was the state champion in the high jump as a junior, took third place her senior year.
Full name is Katherine Elizabeth Frerking... Daughter of Susan and Bill Frerking... Has one sister, Lauren and two brothers Andrew, who plays quarterback at Baylor, and Grant... Is in the Pre-Medicine program.
