AUBURN - Former Auburn standouts DeWanna Bonner and Le'Coe Willingham recently wrapped up the first month of the 2013 WNBA season. Bonner and the Phoenix Mercury are currently 4-4 on the season while Willingham and the Atlanta Dream lead the Eastern Conference at 7-1.

Bonner and the Mercury have won three out of the last four games, picking up wins against Los Angeles, Tulsa and Washington. Against the Sparks, Bonner notched a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. She came back the next time out for another 23-point game against Tulsa.

In the lone loss, against Minnesota, she tallied four points, five assists and five rebounds, but came back with seven points, nine rebounds and three assists in the win over Washington.

Bonner is currently 14th in the league in scoring with 15.4 points per game and sixth in rebounding with 7.5 per game.

Willingham and the Atlanta Dream, continue to lead the WNBA with a 7-1 record. The Dream recently won games against Seattle, Chicago, and a close 78-77 win against Connecticut.

Against her former team, Seattle, she pulled down eight rebounds, and followed up with seven points against Chicago. Against Connecticut, she scored five points with seven boards in the close win.

Willingham is currently 45th in the league in rebounding with 3.8 per game.

Bonner will return to action June 25 against San Antonio on ESPN2, and June 27 at Washington. Willingham and the Atlanta Dream will play at home on June 25 against Indiana on SportsSouth, and June 28 against Washington. All games can also be viewed on WNBA Live Access.
