The Last ... with Tra'Cee Tanner

June 4, 2014

The Last time I was really happy was when I got together with my best friends. I take a lot of pride in who I choose to be in my circle, because the smaller the circle, the closer the relationship is. I can truly say every friend I have is close enough to call a brother or sister, and feels exactly like one that I've had since birth.

The Last great meal I had is when I went home for the summer break at a Cajun restaurant. I love their seafood medley. Growing up my family would eat seafood for any occasion. I can still remember the main course for every family reunion would be catfish and we would buy pounds and pounds because everyone loved it so much.

The Last book I read was Somebody's Gotta be on Top by Mary B. Morrison. I generally choose books that seem to about someone having trouble in their lives. You never know what advice a book can provide for you in your own life.

The Last time I was embarrassed was when I fell at the beach with my best friends. I was in the water walking around and I just so happened to look down and there was a fish beside me. Before I knew it I was high knee running out of the water, tripping over a rock and joining the fish in the water.

The Last time I cooked was when I made my famous sha-nana nachos for my teammate Keonna's birthday. The nachos contain gound beef, different kinds of cheeses and my own homemade salsa that I like to make very spicy. I absolutely love cooking for my teammates it just warms my heart to cook for people.

The Last time I spent with my teammates was a team movie and dinner night we had for our teammate’s birthday.  We do this a couple times throughout the season when we all want to escape the pressure from school or practice. Not to mention that we all are big babies so when we decide to watch a scary movie it keeps us up texting each other through the night.

The Last time I cried was when my long career of playing with my sister, Tyrese, and Peyton (Davis) came to an end after losing to Mississippi State in the WNIT. I have played with my sister and Peyton for about 7 years. They are both really close to me and are part of my family and I would never take back my experience with them.

The Last time I said ‘War Eagle’ was when my sister graduated from Auburn in May. This was a very proud moment and the last time my sister and I would say ‘War Eagle’ to each other as Auburn students.
