AUBURN - Auburn guard Alli Smalley was named to the fifth annual Gballmag.com Young All-American team that is made up of freshman that played significant roles on their women's basketball team in their first collegiate year of action.

Smalley, who earned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team, hit at least one three-pointer in 25-of-32 games this season. Smalley averaged 10.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. She scored in double figures 21 times this season and ranks third on the season three-point field goal attempts list (162) and ninth on three-pointers made (47).

She finished her freshman campaign ranked eighth for the class in assists (89) and ninth for points (341). Smalley was named to the Hawk Classic All-Tournament team after averaging 13.5 points in the two games. She earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors on Nov. 19 after scoring 20 points off of 8-of-10 shooting vs. UAB.
