AUBURN - Keep the lights on at Auburn Arena. The Auburn women's basketball team (17-14) will get at least one more home game this season as the Tigers host Western Kentucky (22-10) at 2 p.m. CT, Sunday in the second round of the Women's NIT.
Auburn advances to the second round after an 80-57 win over in-state rival UAB Wednesday. WKU defeated East Carolina 88-77 in overtime Thursday in Bowling Green, Ky.
It will be the fifth overall meeting between the Tigers and Hilltoppers with Auburn winning the four previous meetings. The last meeting was an 82-69 Auburn win at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum on Jan. 9, 1996.
Tickets for Sunday's game will be available Friday morning at www.AUBTix.com. Auburn fans can also call 1-855-AUB-2010 or come in person to the Auburn Arena box office for tickets. Reserved tickets are $10 while general admission are $7. Students tickets are $5.
