Opening statement...
"We're absolutely pleased with the win, as we always are to win a game. We were a little rugged out there. We've been off for 10 days, and maybe that had a little something to do with it. I thought we had some great efforts. I thought Parrisha Simmons was outstanding defensively and on the boards tonight. Camille Glymph definitely took advantage of that first start and knocked down shots and really kept us in the ballgame for a large part of the night, so I was proud of that. We just have to keep working and keep getting better and taking care of the basketball. I'm really disappointed in the 29 turnovers. I thought that was a little much, but hopefully we can cut those down and do a better job of taking care of the ball in the next game."

On not hitting a shot from the floor for the last 14 minutes of the game...
"I can't explain it. I felt it. Literally, it was like the clock was going backwards because it couldn't run fast enough for me because I knew we were struggling. I don't know if it's that we got the big lead and teams just tend to kind of let go a little; they kind of loosen up a little bit and South Florida didn't. They kept coming at us pretty hard, and it was just a tough night for us from that point on."

On earning a big win despite the scoring drought...
"We got to that free throw line, so that was definitely helpful."

On Camille Glymph earning her first career start and scoring a career-high 23 points...
"She loves the game. She absolutely loves the game of basketball. It is such an incredibly important part of her life, and she just plays it as much as she possibly can. She wants to play 24/7. It's always nice to see a kid get paid off as far as knocking down shots in a game when they put in that much work."

On the decision for Glymph to start...
"She works hard. She's just a hard worker. I've yet to really have five players nail down a spot so it's like we're still trying to get to htat point. She's had some good practices, and I thought she deserved that opportunity. When you have somebody shooting in the 20s, it's pretty nice."

Camille Glymph, So., G

On making her first career start...
"It feels great. I feel like it's a lot of hard work paid off."

On her confidence...
"My confidence is a lot higher than it was last year, just from a lot of hard work in the gym in the off season just shooting all the time, and teammates always looking to get me the ball. It's great."

On feeling good to pick up the win despite playing poorly...
"Definitely. Our turnovers were the worst thing for us, and Coach (Fortner) let us know about it. I thought we played hard and we played together, it's just that we did not have good poise and didn't take care of the ball well. We can definitely improve on that."

Tyrese Tanner, So., F

On the scoring drought...
"We just didn't handle the pressure really well when they pressed us. We obviously ended up with 29 turnovers and 17 the second half, probably coming from the last 14 minutes of the game. We just didn't have any poise at all, instead we were panicking."

On if the long off week contributed to the problems in the game...
"No, those 11 days we practiced really hard and really got after it. For us to come out, we understand we have to win and all, but for us to come out and play like this, really to us it's bad, is unacceptable."

Head Coach Jose Fernandez

On difference from first half, compared to the second half ...
"Well, we scored the first two points to start the second half. This has been the story for us the entire year. When we only score 45 points, we're not going to beat a lot of people. We need the corner shots and we need the easier baskets inside."

On overall performance ...
"We're getting good looks. There is no excuse for the shots we're missing. We're playing with our heads down and worrying about contact and in turn, we're not finishing strong. Going 10-for-19 from the free throw line doesn't help a lot either."

On Jasmine Wynn ...
"She shows up when we need her and provides the leadership we need as well."

Jasmine Wynne Sr., G

On overall performance of game.....
"I think we played hard. We didn't hit our open shots when we needed to. We focused a lot on defense today, and I think we brought it defensively today."

On forcing 29 turnovers....
"We played together, we didn't play selfishly on defense, and we didn't convert on the steals we made with the turnovers we forced."
