On coming back home and getting a win...
"Yes, it was very nice to play at home. There's a comfort at home with your own fans that makes life a little easier. I thought our kids played a great first half and Tulane played a very good second half."

About what were you telling the players in the second halve when Tulane started coming back...
"To stop fouling. All we were doing was fouling and putting them on the free throw line. That gets us out of the flow of our game as well."

How frustrating was it being in the double bonus five minutes in the second half...
"They were actually in a double bonus with 11 minutes to go. It was very frustrating. The new rule is definitely not beneficial to us, a pressing team. One thing that I keep saying that they're not noticing is their traveling, they are really traveling. When they see us coming they start shuffling their feet, but all they see is the bump. It's something that we're going to have to make an adjustment to because the rules not going to change in the middle of the season. So our kids are going to have to start moving their feet a lot better and really stop fouling. Putting teams on the line 28, 29 times you're continuously giving them a chance to win the game."

About Tyrese Tanner getting a double-double...
"Tyrese did well. I think she is constantly figuring out where she fits on this team, where she can be beneficial to us and I think Ty was just solid. We had to have a conversation with her because we thought she was trying to do too much trying to play outside of the offense. When all she really needs to do is to play in offense and just be Ty. We put her back at the top of the press and she's great at the top of the press. Ty's just really good. When you get 17 points and 13 rebounds that's really good.

On Hasina getting back in the groove...
"She's been practicing really well. Hasina is just a really good player. I think you probably would have seen a better Hasina if she not gotten in foul trouble. The foul trouble really took her out of the floor game. She started the game out pretty hot, but we are very happy to have her back out on the floor."

On the game...
"I think we did really good in the first half. We let them come back in the second half we lost our focus a little bit. Overall I think we did great off the 3 point line I think we held them to 20 percent so I think we played pretty well but not good enough."

On five game road stretch with such a young team...
"I think from the summer we always had a type of chemistry. Everybody is great with each other everybody likes each other. I just think it helps on the court as well, even though we haven't played with the freshman for a long time. I think it's actually clicking in with the system I think they are actually getting with it."

On upcoming game vs. St. Johns...
"We will be ready, we will practice these next two days and just get ready to win another game."

On holding of Tulane's late charge...
"The reason they were coming back is because we were fouling so much and putting them on the free throw line. So we just tried to keep moving our feet and didn't try to jump up so much trying to block shots."

On the fouls...
"It is hard for us to adjust to the new rule, it's hard for our system but we just have to learn to slide our feet and keep our hands off of them."

On her first home game of the season...
"It was good to be home and its fun playing in front of the fans with my teammates, it's a great environment to play in."

Tulane Head Coach Lisa Stockton
Opening Statement...
"It's a tale of two halves honestly. For us it was about the worst half of basketball I had seen us play. We did some of the right things with the right positions, but we didn't make the right passes or we turned it over. Defensively we really didn't try to stop them. The other game we gave up 47 points in the first half and gave up 25 the second half. We didn't shoot much better, but we got offense rebounds and played defense. If we had two halves like that back-to-back we could have really competed in this game. When you're down 17 it's tough to play like that for two halves."
