  • This is the 33rd all-time meeting between the two schools... Auburn leads the series, 23-10... In games played at home, Auburn leads the series 8-5... Auburn had not lost a game to Kentucky since Jan. 6, 2000... Before today, the Wildcats had not defeated the Tigers in Auburn since Dec. 6, 1998.
  • The Tigers had three players score in double figures, which marked the 17th time in 21 games that at least three players had at least 10 points.
  • Auburn recorded 20 points off of UK's 13 turnovers.
  • After being down 31-22 at the 0:27 second mark, AU went on a 17-7 run over 4:12 to take a 39-38 lead with 15:50 to go in the second half.  The run began with Ogubie's layup with two seconds left in the first half.  The lead was the first for the Tigers since Auburn led 2-0 to begin the game.
  • Sophomore DeWanna Bonner recorded her second 20+ point game in a row.  Her 23 points marked the fifth 20-point game of the season and ninth of her career.
  • Bonner's three-point bucket was her first since Dec. 6, 2006 vs. Jackson State.
  • Junior Tamela McCorvey tied a career-high with six rebounds.
  • Kentucky's Jennifer Humphrey (20 boards) was the first AU opponent to record 20+ rebounds since Sophia Young of Baylor had 25 on April 4, 2003.
