Brett Self begins his first year as a graduate assistant for the women's basketball team after serving as a manager the last two seasons, including head manager in 2007-08. Self earned his bachelor's of science degree in Business/Marketing Education from Auburn in 2008 and is currently pursuing his master's degree in Adult Education with a minor in sports management. Self played basketball at Hooper Academy for six years and was part of the 2001 state championship team. As a senior he was a Jimmy Hitchcock Top Christian Athlete nominee. A native of Pintlala, Ala., Self is the son of Darrell and Barbara and has two older brothers, Steven and Brandon. |
