Melanie enters her first year as assistant athletic trainer overseeing the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for the Tiger's women's soccer program. Her secondary responsibilities include overseeing the care of the AU men's and women's tennis teams.
Lynn, a native of Memphis, TN, attended Middle Tennessee State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2008. She then was a graduate assistant at the University of Memphis and received her Master's of Science Degree in Sports and Leisure Commerce in May of 2010. At Memphis, Melanie worked as a graduate assistant with the women's soccer, softball, tennis and men's football team.
After completing her Master's Degree, Lynn went on to the University of Michigan working as an intern with the water polo and swimming and diving team from 2010-2011. Melanie then went on to the University of Tulsa and worked with the women's soccer team and track & field team from 2011-2012.
Melanie is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association (SEATA), the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Alabama Athletic Trainers' Society.
