Auburn, Ala. -
The City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center dedication will be held Friday, Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. CT. The dedication is open to the public and will include a ceremony with representatives from the City of Auburn and Auburn University. Tours of the facility will also be provided.
The tennis center, which broke ground in August of 2006 and was completed in June of 2007, is a shared facility between the City of Auburn and Auburn University. The Yarbrough Tennis Center also houses a pro shop, men's and women's locker rooms, concessions and a meeting area.
"This outstanding facility is a result of the hard work and dedication of numerous people from the City of Auburn and Auburn University," said Auburn Athletics Director Jay Jacobs. "One of the finest tennis facilities in the Southeastern Conference, the Yarbrough Tennis Center will be a tremendous asset for the men's and women's tennis programs at Auburn for years to come."
The Yarbrough Tennis Center is hosting the Southeastern Conference Fall Classic, Thursday-Sunday. Admission is free.
