Stephen Nash and Milan Krnjetin Head to Day Three of Thunderbird Classic
Oct. 29, 2006 Sophomores Stephen Nash and Milan Krnjetin completed day two of the Thunderbird Classic with two victories in the consolation singles round.
Nash defeated Jack Marsh of Arizona State 6-3, 6-2. He will continue play in the consolation round by facing Alex Sundling of UC Irvine today. Krnjetin beat Colin Mascall of Arkansas 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-3. He will also continue action today by taking on Matt Brooklyn of Arizona State.
In their first consolation doubles match Nash and Krnjetin fell to Thomas Rizk and Adam Perez of Scottsdale Community College 8-6. Their second consolation match will take place today and they willl face the team from UC Irvine.
