The Auburn's men's tennis team will continue its fall schedule by taking part in the Southeast regional ITA Fall Championships in Lexington, Ky. The tournament will begin tomorrow and end on Sunday at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex. The regional tournament will be the fourth tournament the Tigers have been a part of since beginning the fall season on September 22, 2006 in the Middle Tennessee Classic.
Senior Robbert Lathouwers, junior Terence Nugent, sophomores Milan Krnjetin, Lukas Marsoun, Stephen Nash, and Hunter Mills, and freshman Nick Maurillo will all compete in the singles main draw competition.
Lathouwers, who is seeded #15 for the singles competition, will take on David Ray of Birmingham Southern tomorrow at 4 p.m. Nugent will compete against Stefan James of Bethune Cookman at 5 p.m. Krnjetin will play Richard Walsh of Birmingham Southern at 2 p.m. Marsoun will battle Anze Cevka of Georgia State at 4:30 p.m. Nash will face Phillippe Frayssinoux of Mississippi State at 2 p.m. Mills will take on Devin Dessauer of LSU at 8:30 p.m. and Maurillo will face Vivek Subramanian of Miami at 2 p.m.
Auburn will also have three teams competing in doubles action. #14 seeded Lathouwers and Marsoun will compete together while Nash and Mills will be team two and Krnjetin and Nugent will pair up for the third team.
