    AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn men's tennis team finished competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Sunday at the Bill More Tennis Center in Atlanta.

    Freshmen Michael Wardell and Davis Taylor took part in singles competition for the Tigers. In the "A" draw, Wardell fell to Rok Bizjak of Clemson, 6-2, 6-1. Taylor competed in the consolation "C" draw and was defeated by host Georgia Tech's Miguel Muguruza (6-2, 6-3).

    Senior Nick Maurillo and Wardell fell to Max Stevens and Bryan Swartz of Tennessee, 8-5, in doubles "A" draw. Junior transfer Alex Jornes teamed up with Taylor in doubles "B" draw and lost to Armstrong Atlantic's Dan Regan and Jose Carlos Tolentino, 8-4.

    Auburn junior Tim Puetz and sophomore Alex Stamchev will start their fall season on Monday at the D'Novo ITA All-American Tournament in Tulsa, Okla.

    Consolation C Draw
    Miguel Muguruza (Georgia Tech) def. Davis Taylor (Auburn); 6-2, 6-3
