Robbert Lathouwers is coming off a very successful career at Auburn that saw him advance to both the NCAA singles and doubles championships as a senior. He is in his first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Tiger men's tennis team.

As a Senior
Fall 2006:Finished the fall with a 3-2 singles record ... Advanced to the third round of the ITA Region 3 Indoor Tournament ... Amassed a 5-2 record in doubles with partners Alex Schweizer and Lucas Marsoun ... Advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA Region 3 Indoor Tournament with Marsoun.
Spring 2007: Finished his senior campaign with by advancing to the NCAA Singles Tournament, falling in the first round to Ohio State's Steven Moneke (6-3, 4-6, 6-4)... Ranked No. 52 in the country in the final spring 2007 rankings... A first-team All-SEC selection... Went 17-6 overall (9-2 SEC) in singles play... Posted an 8-4 record over opponents ranked in the top 100... Rattled off a 12-match winning streak to start the season... Highest-ranked win was a 6-3, 6-4 victory over #29 Bobby Cameron (UT)... Fall 2004: Began the fall season ranked 104th by ITA ... Earned a 5-4 singles record and a 6-3 doubles record with partners Nick Lane, Alex Schweizer and Gabor Zoltan Pelva ... Won the doubles title at Arizona State's Thunderbird Invitational with partner Zoltan Pelva by defeating Arizona State's Christopher Biro and Nick Hegarty in the finals, 8-5 ... Won the consolation doubles title at the ITA All-American Championships with partner Alex Schweizer, after defeating Boise State's Thomas Schoeck and Luke Shields, 8-4, in the finals.
