AUBURN - The Auburn men's golf team arrived in Baton Rouge, La., on Saturday in preparation for the 2009 David Toms Intercollegiate hosted by LSU at the Country Club of Louisiana. The two-day, 54-hole event kicks off with a shotgun start on Monday at 8 a.m. CST.

Auburn's five-man lineup includes sophomore Kyle Kopsick, senior Cole Moreland, redshirt freshman David Zickler, sophomore John Stembridge and sophomore Will McCurdy.

"Once again we will be facing another high-quality field," said Auburn head coach Nick Clinard. "Auburn hasn't played in here in quite some time. We're going to need to focus during the practice round to get acquainted with the course."

The 14-team field at the David Toms features Northwestern, North Florida, Kent State, LSU, Auburn, Southeastern Louisiana, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Pepperdine, Rice, South Alabama and UAB.

Auburn is paired Kent State and Southeastern Louisiana for Monday's opening 36-holes of play.
