Dufner entered last week's BMW Championship ranked 28th in the FedExCup Standings, needing a strong finish to guarantee his top-30 status and a trip to East Lake. The class of 2000 economics major fired a final round 68 to tie for sixth and advance to 22nd in the standings. "I love Atlanta," said Dufner after the BMW Championship. "I love East Lake and I'll have a lot of people following me, so I'm looking forward to maybe finishing up what I didn't quite finish at the PGA there." Dufner entered the 2009 Playoffs at No. 25 in the standings and a tie for sixth at The Barclays helped keep him in the top 30 for his first appearance in the Playoffs finale. Dufner currently ranks 10th on Tour in approaches from outside 200 yards and is 18th on the 2011 money list with a career-high $2,867,460.
