Auburn sophomore Glenn Northcutt was named to the GCAA/PING Division I All-Southeast Region team, it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Northcutt, who earned All-SEC honors this season, had a team-best 72.46 stroke average and three top 10 finishes. The Dothan, Ala, native helped guide the Tigers to a third place finish at the SEC Championship and a second place finish at the NCAA East Regional. He was named SEC Golfer of the Week after leading Auburn to a win at the Seminole Intercollegiate.
The PING All-Region teams consist of the top 15 individuals in their region in the Individual Ranking System. Additionally, any player ranked nationally in the top 75 according to the Golfstat or the Sagarin rankings not included their regions top 15 are added to their All-Region team.
Members of the PING All-Region teams are automatically eligible for PING All-American honors.
