AUBURN - The Auburn men's golf team will close out the regular season as it plays host to the 19th-annual Billy Hitchcock Intercollegiate at the par 72, 7,275-yard Auburn University Club at Yarbrough Farms Friday through Sunday.

Senior All-SEC Stuart Moore will lead the Tigers in the No. 1 position. True freshman Glenn Northcutt will play the No. 2 slot followed by sophomore All-SEC Patton Kizzire at No. 3, junior Andrew Medley at No. 4 and sophomore Jay Moseley at No. 5. Sophomore Steven Groover and redshirt freshman Keith White will play individually.

The 12-team field includes Auburn, Charlotte, College of Charleston, Jacksonville State, Memphis, Mercer, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Alabama, Southeastern Louisiana and UAB.

"We are excited about hosting the Hitchcock once again and happy to be back at the AU Club," head coach Mike Griffin said. "This tournament gives us a chance to gain some momentum heading into the postseason. We've had good practices this week, and we are ready to go."

All teams tee off the No. 1 tee in Friday's first round starting with Southeastern Louisiana, Charleston and Mercer at 7:30 am. North Florida, Jacksonville State and Ole Miss begin at 8:10 am while Charlotte, Auburn and UAB tee off at 8:58 am and Memphis, Mississippi State and South Alabama at 9:38 am.

Tee times for Saturday's second round and the final round on Sunday begin at 7:50 am.

Auburn will be aiming for its 11th title in the Hitchcock after winning the event in each of the past two seasons. The Tigers have won the event nine times in the last 11 years.
