AUBURN – The No. 20 Auburn men’s golf team will host the inaugural Tiger Invitational Presented by Jason Dufner at the Grand National Lake Course with a 36-hole shotgun start on Monday followed by 18 holes on Tuesday.

The Tigers are coming off back-to-back victories at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate and the Samford Intercollegiate, and look to win three-straight tournaments for the first time since 1977.

The 15-team field also includes Charlotte, Chattanooga, East Carolina, Houston, Kentucky, Kennesaw State, North Carolina, Memphis, Mississippi State, Samford, South Alabama, Troy, Wake Forest and Yale.

“We are very excited about hosting this tournament,” head coach Nick Clinard said. “I want to thank Jason Dufner for hosting this tournament, and we have received tremendous support from Jay Jacobs and the administration for the event. It will be exciting to see all the Auburn fans, friends of the program and boosters out at Grand National to watch us, as we normally don’t get to play at home. Grand National is a fantastic golf course and is always in great shape, so I know the guys are excited to play.”
