Coming off of a first-place finish at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate, the Auburn men's golf team is back in action Sunday, March 2 through Tuesday, March 4 at the USF Invitational at Lake Jovita Country Club in Dade City, Fla.
"We are looking forward to trying to make it two in a row this week," Auburn head coach Nick Clinard said. "The guys are playing very well and we are excited about the challenge of competing in Florida against many great teams. One of our best players can't make the trip so I'm looking for someone to step up in his absence this week. It's a great opportunity for our players."
Auburn's lineup will consist of Niclas Carlsson, Jake Mondy, Will Long, Daniel Stringfellow and Ryan Benton.
Carlsson finished runner-up at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate, shooting a 69-71-72--212 (minus-4) while Long finished tied for third at minus-3 (72-70-71--213). Carlsson and Mondy have each carded four rounds in the 60s while Monday and Carlsson each have 7 sub-par rounds.
