AUBURN - The No. 12 Auburn men's golf team will compete in its second tournament of the spring season March 2-4 in the Seminole Intercollegiate at the par 72, 6,965-yard Golden Eagle Country Club Course in Tallahassee, Fla.

Senior Jay Moseley and junior Glenn Northcutt will play in the No.1 and 2 spots, respectively, after both tying for fourth in last week's John Burns Intercollegiate. Senior Jamie Bowen will play at No. 3 followed by senior Steven Groover at No. 4. Senior Patton Kizzire and sophomore Cole Moreland will both be traveling to Tallahassee. One will occupy the No. 5 slot with the other competing as an individual. The decision will be made prior to the Sunday morning tee-off.

"We're coming off that great win last week out in Hawaii," said head coach Mike Griffin. "I'm ready to see how we react defending our title at last year's Seminole. They have a really great course down there. It's a top-notch event."

The 12-team field features four top-25 teams including No. 11 Florida State, No. 12 Auburn, No. 20 Mississippi State, No. 24 Louisville, UAB, Charleston, LSU, Maryland, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Virginia.

The Tigers claimed victory at the 2007 Seminole Intercollegiate, led by Kizzire and Northcutt, who both tied for third individually.

Play will begin off the No. 1 tee at 8 am Central. Live scoring can be found at www.golfstat.com.
