No. 2 Oklahoma State leads at 29-under 280-267—547, while No. 3 Georgia Tech and No. 14 Texas Tech are t-2 at 281-275—556.
Freshman Brandon Mancheno helped bring the team up a spot with a 7-under-70-67 —137. The Jacksonville, Florida native tallied six birdies on Friday on Nos. 2, 4 and 9 on the front nine and 12, 16 and 17 on the back.
Sophomore Jovan Rebula is five strokes back from Mancheno at 2-under-71-71—142. Juniors Jacob Solomon (74-70—144) and Trace Crowe (71-73—144) are both at even. Freshman Wells Padgett is 2-over-75-71—146.
No. 19 Southern California is in fourth (282-276—558) followed by No. 16 Texas (279-283—562) tied with Oregon (287-275—562) and TCU (281-282—563).
Arizona State is three strokes behind Auburn in ninth (289-279—568) followed by No. 10 Stanford (288-282—570), San Jose State (282-289—571) and Colorado (287-284—571), UC Davis (283-289—572), Osaka Gakuin University (296-286—582) and Oregon State (302-287—589).
