Auburn Men's Golf Still In 9th After Seminole Intercollegiate Second Round

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Auburn men's golf team carded a 13-over 301 and remains in ninth place after the second round of the Seminole Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,041-yard Golden Eagle Country Club Saturday.

Freshman Kyle Kopsick (74-146) is currently tied for 15th followed by redshirt freshman Jonathan Fly (76-149) tied for 32nd, freshman Will McCurdy (75-150) tied for 36th while sophomore Cole Moreland (76-155) and senior Glenn Northcutt (78-155) are both tied for 54th.

Keith White (78-150) is tied for 36th competing as an individual.

"We just haven't been able to get it going in the first two rounds," said Auburn head golf coach Mike Griffin. "There is still one day left, and I look for us to come out in the right frame of mind and have a great day."

After shooting a six-under second round, No. 25 Ole Miss (282-570) remains in first, followed by Virginia (282-571), Vanderbilt (286-576), No. 22 Florida State (289-581), No. 21 Arkansas (287-583), Mississippi State (292-584), Mercer (294-587), UAB (294-590), Auburn (301-598), Western Carolina (295-599), Maryland (302-610) and College of Charleston (301-611).

Ole Miss's Joe David (72-139), Vanderbilt's Ryan Haselden (72-139) and Virginia's Conrad von Borsig (71-139) are currently tied for the individual lead.
