    Antonio Coleman, Ben Tate Invited To Under Armour Senior Bowl Under Armour Senior Bowl will be played Jan. 30, at 3 p.m. CT in Mobile, Ala.

    Auburn, Ala. - Auburn seniors Antonio Coleman and Ben Tate have accepted invitations to participate in the 61st annual Under Armour Senior Bowl, January 30th, in Mobile. The game, which features the nation's top college seniors, will be played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium at 3 p.m. CT. The game will be televised by the NFL Network.

    "We are very excited about having both Antonio and Ben here in January representing the Auburn Tigers in the Under Armour Senior Bowl," Senior Bowl President and CEO Steve Hale said. "Both are very deserving of their invites and it's always rewarding to have a Mobile native like Antonio return home to play in front of his friends and family."

    Coleman enters the Outback Bowl ranked third on Auburn's all-time sack list. The defensive end has 23.5 sacks for his career, trailing only Quentin Groves and Gerald Robinson. Coleman leads the SEC in both sacks with nine and tackles for loss with 15.5 this season. The Mobile native is also tops on his team with 12 quarterback hurries. A first team All-SEC selection, Coleman has 45 tackles this season and was named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week twice this season.

    "I'm honored to be invited to the Senior Bowl," Coleman said. "It's going to be extra special because I'm coming home."

    Tate ranks fifth on Auburn's all-time career rushing list with 3,213 yards. A Doak Walker Award semi-finalist and second-team All-SEC selection in 2009, Tate is ranked in the school's top ten in career all-purpose yards (3,735), career rushing touchdowns (22), single season rushing yardage (1,254) and single season all-purpose yards (1,498). He currently ranks third in the SEC in rushing this season with 1,254 yards and has scored eight touchdowns on the year.

    "It's exciting to know that I have the opportunity to play against some of the top competition in the country and to be able to showcase my talents against those guys," Tate said.

     

     

    With the addition of Coleman and Tate, the Under Armour Senior Bowl has now featured 183 Auburn Tigers on its all-time roster since 1950.
