Auburn Football Signs Gayden, Mosley To National Letters of Intent
Dec. 16, 2009 Auburn, Ala. - Auburn football has signed Roszell Gayden and Brandon Mosley to a National Letter of Intent during the JUCO signing period, announced head coach Gene Chizik Wednesday. Gayden is a 6-7, 310-pound offensive tackle from New Hope, Minn., who played at the College of Sequoias (Calif.) the past two seasons. Rivals.com rated Gayden as the No. 11 overall junior college player in the country, while Scout.com listed him as one of the top five JUCO linemen nationally. The four-star prospect was a first-team all-state player as a senior in 2007 at Robbinsdale Cooper High School. A 6-6, 285-pound tight end, Mosley played at Coffeyville (Kan.) CC the past two season. A native of Jefferson, Ga., Mosley was a named to the All-Jayhawk Conference team as a tight end in 2009 after having 12 catches for 229 yards and two touchdowns. Mosley also played defensive end, recording 35 tackles, including 4.0 for loss and 1.5 sacks. Mosley played high school football at Jefferson High School, where he was named an all-state tight end and an all-region linebacker and punter as a senior.
