AUBURN, Ala.  Cameron Artis-Payne and Reese Dismukes lead six Auburn football players on this season's Associated Press All-SEC team that was announced Monday.

Artis-Payne, who leads the SEC in rushing, and Dismukes, who is up for two national awards as a top offensive lineman at center, were named to the AP's All-SEC first team.

Receiver Sammie Coates and defensive back Jonathan Jones were named to the second team.

Kicker/punter Daniel Carlson and defensive lineman Gabe Wright were named honorable mention.

Artis-Payne has 1,482 yards and 11 touchdowns rushing as he heads to Auburn's date with Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 1. Dismukes, a four-year starter at center for Auburn, is a finalist for the Rimington Trophy and the Outland Award. The winners of those awards will be announced Thursday.

Coates has 30 catches for 717 yards and four touchdowns, and is coming off a big game against Alabama when he had five catches for 206 yards and two TDs.

Jones leads Auburn with six interceptions.

Carlson handled most of the kicking chores for Auburn as the primary punter, kickoff man and field goal kicker. He leads Auburn in scoring with 104 points, including hitting 17-of-21 field goal tries. He averaged 41.6 yards punting. Forty-six of his 75 kickoffs were touchbacks.
