ATLANTA -- It wasn't the result Auburn wanted in Saturday's SEC championship game, but from the week leading up to it to the game itself to the post-game interviews in the locker room, the players represented their school at the highest level. And even in defeat, they still believe in and love Auburn.
Some took to Twitter after the game to express that love and gratitude.
War damn eagle
God still gets the highest praise! It wasn't the outcome we wanted but it's still War Eagle!!

Wouldn't trade my four years for nothing! 🤷🏾♂️ #WDE
All glory and praise STILL goes to God!! #WDE
Wish I could have contributed to this game more for my team but a concussion suffered from the previous game limited my playing time. Proud of this team and how far we've come War Eagle ❗️

It wasn't just the current players either. Former Auburn players and coaches, some of whom were at the game Saturday, also showed love for their school.
